Today I would like to rant about this UK TV ad.
I'm fucking fed up of all this C02 guilt trip crap.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for reducing C02 output, but this media guilt tripping ass raping is driving me nuts.
even as I write this there's an add to the left saying
"Taking a longer shower than you need wastes 9 litres of water a minute.
WATER.
USE IT.
DON'T
WASTE IT."
I mean.
How do you even rationalise a 'longer shower than you need' and you just can't make such a generic statement without taking into account what kind of shower you're using, I mean a power shower would use more than a a little dribbling shit thing.
It SHOULD say "By taking long showers, you could waste up to 9 litres of water a minute." It wouldn't make me happy, but it would be a start.

I just got an e-mail from Chris Taylor in reply to a cold e-mail.
By cold e-mail I mean I basically took the base web address and came up with all the possible iterations of his name to generate likely e-mails. Things like firstname.lastname@companyname.com, firstinital.lastname@companyname.com etc. I think in the end I sent 8 e-mails to various accounts. I did this a few days ago and I assumed that none of them had hit, or they had been sent to spam, or ignored. However I received a reply just now =D
The e-mail was a request for information in regards to writing game design documents and if a template I found a while back written by him was still relevant to today's market.
I'm really pumped right now.

Today I played in the first session of Bens Sci-fi, illuminati fighting game ... I'm not sure how Ben refers to it so *shrug*.
Anyway it was really good fun, it was really nice to roleplay again after Gaz's DnD game in the summer ((not that it was bad, it was just a good while ago)). The session was quite short and was more of an orientation and into to the game than a real session however.
Helens character is quite interesting being a robot and all ... it would seem that she cannot talk to the majority of the party directly, including the team leader due to a lack of technology.
It shall be interesting to see how people handle it. |

I don't really like being at home. I get all conscious about my dressing up and how me and my parents don't talk about it. Like today I went to town and saw some really nice things ((mostly corsets)). I wasn't really thinking about actually buying one, what with a price tag of £70+ but ... it just made me feel down ...
I need to regain my confidence in dressing up, and lose some mass around my middle and actually do it more instead of spending money on things that I never actually use.
Ugghhhhhhhh -_____-;;
p.s. I also need to fix this laptop so its stops shouting at me when I try and update, telling me that I can't post using an incorrect time value because the system clock for this machine is a massive failure. |

Americans need to learn that the NHS is not a terrorist; communist and evil body that WANTS TO KILL YOUR CHIDLREN AND STEPHEN HAWKING!
I saw a clip from an American TV show ((granted on BBC News, so cut to bits to give an agenda)) with a woman saying, “I don’t want this country to become Russia, I don’t want this country to become socialized” … and yes she did say socialized, not socialist.
Ok the NHS isn’t perfect. But FFS, if I get in a car crash I’d rather live in a country where they try to save my life before they charge my credit card.
It’s. Just. Better.
If the NHS is un-American, then the American psyche is sadist.
If you asked me what country I would rather have medical treatment in IGNOREING COST, I’d say America because they DO have a better healthcare network up to the part were you have to play though the nose.

Just to update folks
Helen has ((from what I understand)) confirmed Appendicitis. AFAIK she is due for surgery to have her appendix removed about midnight ((that being about 25 min ago))
That’s more or less all I know.
In other news, Gazlan 4 has been pushed back to Wed/Tues, depending upon Helens condition.
In other other news, I get my results at Noon on Monday (( ~12hrs from now)) |
